Software development

The Engineering Office for Groundwater GmbH develops and distributes the simulation programme for geofiltration and geomigration PCGEOFIM. The use of modern tools ensures that the development process runs efficiently. The use of the latest Fortran compiler helps to exploit the potential of modern processors so that the software runs with optimal performance. New programme features can be implemented immediately and any errors can be found quickly. Customer enquiries can be responded to with short response times. We use the following development tools:
  • Microsoft Visual Studio Professional
  • Up-to-date Intel Fortran compiler, highly optimising for best performance
  • Version management system for the source code to document changes and for quality assurance purposes
  • Ticket system for recording new requirements and error tracking
  • Internal wiki for the provision of tools, tips and tricks
